This product is an assembly that screws together.  To keep it from coming unscrewed in your pocket we bond the pieces together before shipping.  If you'd prefer we leave it unbounded so you can change the ferrule just shoot us a note after checkout.

Comes with one shorty size 1” plastic BB&F ferrule installed.  Shorty ferrules are better suited for keychains as they're smaller in your pocket but when ordered as a pitch tool we include a small plastic spacer to extend the length of the tool.

Ferrule is made of plastic.   Base piece is aluminum and single prong and keychain top pieces are stainless steel.
