This product is an assembly that screws together.   We bond the pieces together before shipping to prevent the tool from coming unscrewed in your pocket but if you prefer it to be shipped unbonded so you can change the ferrule just drop us a note after checkout.

Comes with one standard size 1.3” plastic BB&F ferrule installed.  Standard (1.3") ferrules work a little better as pitch tools as they fit better in your hand but also work well as a slightly larger keychain.  If you'd prefer your order to be a keychain instead of a single prong just shoot us an email after checkout.

Ferrule is made of plastic.   Base piece is aluminum and single prong piece is stainless steel.
